I am a California girl, born between the mountains and the ocean, the rolling foothills are my home. I've been astride almost since I was born, learned to ride before I could walk and would rather ride than do anything else. I can rope, ride and shoot, and I hate to cook. I'd rather spend my money on a well built rig than hairdo's or furniture. I buy my clothes at the tack store or the garden shop and if Tractor supply sold groceries I would never have to shop anywhere else. My kids are grown and on their own, so I have plenty of time for my passions- besides horses, I love to write and take photographs. I read incessantly. I value my friends. I am constanly amazed by the talent and beauty on these blog pages. I like being in this good company.
My mount was named Thomas J- He never missed a meal!
