Sunday Stills- Roads

This is what I have to look forward to three or four days a week.
It reminds me of Autopia in Disneyland- except not nearly as much fun.
This is where Highways 960 and 580 and 880 and Bart all come together in a huge Maze. It is also where my commute slows to a 10 mph crawl.
This was taken with my camera phone going about 5 mph. I think the people in the car ahead of me were a little freaked out that I was taking pictures, they kept swerving to the side!
I hope all of your roads are more bucolic- but I wanted to represent the unlovely side of roadways!

You're right -- gotta' have them! We all complain but we all drive on them -- a good shot for the challenge.

Eeek! Traffic and the concrete of the city makes my blood pressure rise! I rarely ever have to drive on city roads, but thankfully our closest city isn't all that heavy on traffic.

Thanks for keeping it real and I like your use of B & W for this photo, too.

Great shot - seriously!

Your commute looks like my commute. Is there anyone out there who has a bucolic commute? If there is lets kill them. The B&W looks good.

One of the things that makes me HAPPY about taking a bus to work. :-)

I would never be able to drive in it! Good for you!

The first time I saw that type of "maze" many years ago, I couldn't believe my li'l ole country girl eyes. I think it was Seattle. I tend to avoid cities, and sure don't like driving in them.
