Brought Glacier down from the pasture yesterday. She is looking pretty good, and is certainly happier. She has a sorrel quarter horse gelding as her buddy, his name is Moon, and they cry to each other when separated. After
Her coat looks good, her feet look good and her weight looks fair, she could be a little fatter. Unfortunately her back seems to be getting more swayed. Lack of muscle and use I suppose.
I feel good looking up on the hill and seeing her mingling with the group of horses that are now her herd. As the grass begins to fail we'll start feeding again, and then I will see her more as they learn to come down to eat at a certain time.

I'm sure she's happy to be out there with the herd too!
She is looking SO good! I absolutely LOVE her hip blanket, and the fact that she has kept that black color in front.
Give the ol gal a rub from me please!
Awww. She's got such a unique coloring for an appy. So pretty. How old is she?
