KEEP A-GOIN’
If you strike a thorn or rose,
Keep a-goin’!
If it hails, or if it snows,
Keep a-goin’!
Taint no use to sit and whine
When the fish ain’t on your line;
Bait your hook an’ keep a-tryin’ –
Keep a-goin’!
When the weather kills your crop,
Keep a-goin’!
Though ’tis work to reach the top,
Keep a-goin’!
S’pose you’re out o’ ev’ry dime,
Gettin’ broke ain’t any crime;
Tell the world you’re feelin’ fine –
Keep a-goin’!
When it looks like all is up,
Keep a-goin’!
Drain the sweetness from the cup,
Keep a-goin’!
See the wild birds on the wing,
Hear the bells that sweetly ring,
When you feel like singin’ – Sing –
Keep a-goin’!
My dear sweet friend Sunihali found this for me! It nearly made me weep! ( Well, it DID make me weep, but I'm only telling you guys that. Don't tell anyone else!)
Just seeing it in print brought my Dear Grandmother's voice back to me as clearly as if she were standing behind me.
What a wonderful gift!
Thank You Sunihali!

I love it!! So wonderful someone found it for you! You should have it printed out and framed, and displayed. It's a cowgirl's creed! ;)
I did print it out and I'm going to frame it too!
I have the best friends ever!
Oh I really like that - I had to copy it and email it to some of my pals...
Vera nice
