Stink bugs had infested every little nook and cranny. I think I removed an least 50 of those repulsive little creaps. I'm getting Kitt ready to be ridden again and decided to do some tidying. Lucky thing I did.Maiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06829925970369556886noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3940575797908189714.post-26147533431351507262011-11-05T21:11:50.642-07:002011-11-05T21:11:50.642-07:00That's exactly why I don't buy tack that h...That's exactly why I don't buy tack that has Chicago screws. I've had them come undone, and had to do a quick fix with a piece of twine- now, you bet that looks pretty trashy! All my bridles have either ties or buckles. Like Lisa, I do a once-over glance at everything as I tack up, and once or twice a year a thorough inspection.Shirleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15454110560303310751noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3940575797908189714.post-11822583662012934052011-11-05T20:05:25.370-07:002011-11-05T20:05:25.370-07:00Good thing your instincts kicked in and you checke...Good thing your instincts kicked in and you checked.
Thanks for the good reminder.
I usually have a general look-see as I tack up, but not often do I do a close-up inspection. That is usually done just twice a year, when I take everything part to oil all my tack each winter and spring.

~LisaLaughing Orca Ranchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03562627840013868980noreply@blogger.com
